Calling all 2nd grade parent volunteers to spend a morning outside helping our young cyclists learn the rules of the road when biking around the village.
A bike safety representative from the park district will teach the 2nd graders about proper helmet fit, how to use hand signals and how to avoid common hazards on their bikes — all while discussing why biking is a great thing to do!
We need parents to help kids get bikes on and off the racks, check helmet fit and help on the course, which the trainer will draw on the playground. Plan to spend the whole morning at Romona. Sign up HERE to help!
